SOBO was founded in 1995 by song-writing team Assaf Ganzman and Daniel Kriman.
The two met when Daniel was playing at a Jerusalem Mike's Place.
Assaf remembers that moment well:
“You gotta understand, I'm coming from Nashville and New York of the early 90"s. So anyway, I stumble into a small smoky club and there's this kid with long blond hair to his ass, a beat-up acoustic guitar, literally a broken beer
bottleneck in his hand, a harmonica in his lips, a tambourine tied to his foot and this guy is wailing like you couldn't believe.
It was like nothing I'd ever seen. Lucky for me his mouth was so busy on the harp that he needed someone to sing... and that's how it got started.”
Sammy and Daniel jammed together for the first time that night and have been a musical team ever since.

Yoni Becker is one of Shilo's fine musicians, and the first to come out with his own CD.
Mostly original compositions, the CD contains 16 songs of Yoni singing and playing electric guitar, in a Country-Rock good-feeling sort of way.

Dov Hammer is Israel's #1 blues harmonica player and singer.
Now residing in Tel Aviv, Hammer came to Israel from Chicag, ILL.
Originally a bass player, he took up the harmonica at the age of 20, and has'nt looked back since! He spent 4 years playing with Canadian blues artist Ted Cooper, and has played with various American Blues artists, such as the late King Ernest ,Zora Young and Ronnie Peterson.
Today Hammer co-leads "CG & The Hammer Blues band",
as well as appearing acoustically, accompanied by
Ronnie Katz on guitar.
Also a featured guest artist with "The Midnight Mojo Blues Band".
When Dov Hammer (formerly of “The Daily Blues”) and Sagi (CG) Shorer (formerly of “CG Blues”) first met in 1999, both had already paid plenty of dues, both as sidemen (sharing stages with such blues greats as Paul deLay, Zora Young, Billy Branch and the late King Earnest Baker, among others) and leading their own bands.
The two soon joined forces to create a “Supergroup” first called “The Midnight Mojo Blues Band”, and now known as “CG & The Hammer”.
From Bars to festivals to concert halls, CG & The Hammer continue to thrill audiences with a combination of passion, energy and honesty.
Their music is never a re-creation of sounds from the past, but rather an updated, vital celebration of the Blues as the soundtrack of real life.

YOOD, the smallest letter in the Hebrew alphabet, is the new name for great, big sound. Three guys originally from North America, for the last decade playing backup to the giants on the Israeli scene, take virtuosity to new levels on their debut album, Passin'over, which has the kind of soulful, soaring guitar riffs you feel before you hear. Drawing inspiration from Hendrix, Cream and Dylan, this professionally trained classic rock trio performs original music and lyrics along with classic covers.
Front man Lazer Lloyd, who has toured extensively with legendary Israeli jam band Reva L'Sheva, and has played with Matisyahu and Danny Sanderson, does his magic with guitars and harmonica; Yaacov Lefcoe (Dr. Jake), whose roots are in hard rock / funk, is master of the ?monster bass sound?; and Moshe ?Russian Percussion? Yankovsky charms the drums with his ethnic, fusion sound. Their band was born in Jerusalem at the start of the new millennium, and is known for its massive tight groove and high energy live show.
YOOD's intense instrumentation harnesses the power of the thinking, feeling, and agile electric guitar on a burning journey to elevate Rock?s heyday, via Kabbalah and Chassidic influences.
